The Artwork of Esuwae
Esuwae finds this body of work as a channel to ask the feminine to look into their life and begin to reclaim for themselves the parts that have been denied, buried or overlooked due to limitations or suppression. She elaborates, “As women, we hold so much that most of us just don’t see.” Viewing the painting, The Sovereign Queen… She Who Embodies; the hope for Esuwae is that women see their authentic authority and spiritual birthright that each woman possesses and begin the journey to uncover what that means for them.
Esuwawe further expresses, “Each body of work asks that I dive deep into what each reclamation means to myself. My prayer becomes that every beautiful goddess that devours this body of work finds a deeper understanding of Herself and walks that discovery with every fiber of her being.”
